Simply Fantastic! These guys were great to work with. They were caring and quick. I called around 9am in the morning because my garage door had stopped working. They stopped by between other jobs to diagnose the problem and offered to help me get my car out if I needed it. By 2pm I was back in business the same day. The team was knowledgeable and upfront. Is your garage door reversing for no reason — or won't close at all?
Your safety sensors are probably the culprit. Here's what to check:
* Clean the lenses. Wipe both sensors with a dry cloth. Dust, dirt, and spiderwebs block the beam and trigger false readings.
* Check alignment. Both sensors should point directly at each other. Loosen the wing nut, adjust until the green light goes solid, then retighten.
* Watch for sunlight. Direct sun hitting a sensor in the afternoon can blind it completely — one of the most overlooked causes of sensor problems.
Quick test: if the door closes when you hold the button but not with a normal press, that's a sensor fault almost every time.
If those steps don't fix it, the sensor unit may need replacing — they're inexpensive and a quick install. Give us a call for a free estimate!
